Celebrate summer with us at Five Fifty Five Vineyard and Winery for our Summer Salad Potluck. Bring your favorite summer salad to share, swap recipes with fellow guests, and enjoy half price glasses of wine all afternoon.
From watermelon feta to garden classics, pasta salads to grain bowls, we want to taste them all. Bring a few printed copies of your recipe so everyone leaves with new ideas for their summer table.
Cabernet Sauvignon Release Party!
Introducing our brand-new 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon — aged in Texas White Oak for a distinctly regional expression you won’t find anywhere else.
Why it’s unique
A rare barrel choice: Very few wineries use Texas White Oak, and we’re proud to be among them. These barrels impart a signature profile that celebrates terroir and tradition.
Flavor profile: Expect elegant layers of dark cherry and cassis, supported by warm baking spices, toasted pecan, and a subtle undercurrent of mesquite-like smokiness. The oak adds creamy vanilla and a soft, silky tannin structure that carries through a long, satisfying finish.
Thoughtful aging: Our winemakers embraced traditional techniques and patient cellaring to let the fruit and Texas oak speak together — balanced, complex, and true to place.

One Hit Wonders - LIVE CONCERT
Rock out to iconic songs you know and love but can’t remember who sings them at 5 Fifty-Five Vineyard and Winery on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 (gates at 6 PM, music 7-9 PM).
Bring your lawn chair, enjoy food truck fare and wine by the bottle, and relive the best music from some band you can’t recall under the stars—tickets are $25 for wine club members, $35 for non-club, and $50 at the door. Ages 16+ with adult supervision welcome, and with limited capacity, this lawn concert is expected to sell out.

Barbara Hack Oil Painting Class
Barbara Hack — a Top 20 Portrait Artist of America — leads an oil painting class at 5 Fifty-Five Vineyard and Winery to paint a vibrant tulip still life.
Open to all levels. Barbara covers composition, color mixing, brushwork, and techniques to capture tulips’ form and glow.

Course 1: Roasted Red Pepper & Goat Cheese Crostini
Creamy goat cheese on toasted baguette, topped with sweet roasted red peppers and olive oil. Elegant, colorful, and beautifully wine friendly, paired with our 2024 Roussanne.
Course 2: Gambas al Ajillo
Succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic, olive oil, and a touch of chili. Bright, aromatic, and ideal with our 2023 Roussanne.
Course 3: Albondigas en Salsa Española with Patatas Bravas
Tender Spanish style meatballs simmered in a smoky tomato paprika sauce and Patatas Bravas with Smoked Paprika Aioli
Crispy golden potatoes topped with a smoky, mildly spicy bravas sauce and a creamy aioli. A rich, savory pairing for our 2023 Grenache.
Course 4: Chorizo al Vino Tinto with Tortilla de Papas
Spanish style chorizo braised in red wine with garlic and bay leaf. Tortilla de Papas with Truffle Aioli - A classic Spanish potato tortilla, slow cooked in olive oil and served with a silky truffle aioli. Deep, bold flavors that shine alongside our new 2022 Tempranillo.
Course 5: Rich espresso crème brûlée finds its perfect match in bourbon barrel-aged Tempranillo, where the wine's vanilla and toasted oak notes echo the dessert's caramelized sugar crust while dark cherry and plum flavors intertwine beautifully with the coffee-infused custard. The bourbon barrel's subtle whiskey warmth and spice amplify the espresso's roasted intensity, creating a luxuriously smooth pairing that's both indulgent and sophisticated.
